Fig.4 (immediately preop):  There is purulent discharge from the distal gingival sulcus of the tooth #13 (*).  Inflammatory granulation tissue is removed from the distobuccal socket after tooth extraction, followed by copious irrigation and Clindamycin gauze soaking.
