A 2 mm pilot drill (Fig.6 P, 17 mm deep) is found close to the root of the tooth #11 (red dashed line). The osteotomy is then moved distally (arrow: -->).
Although the bone height is limited (between 2 black arrowheads) buccally, 4.5x14 mm tap (T) is inserted in the septum close to the palatal socket without sinus membrane perforation. The tap is close to the apex of the palatal socket (white arrowhead).
