Fig.6 (intraop PA): A 7x14 mm implant (I) is placed with insertion torque > 60 Ncm. Emdogain (which is not applied) may help the bone graft (*) heal on the surface of the neighboring teeth.  A 6x3 mm abutment (A) is used to hold perio dressing or retain an immediate provisional.  The sinus floor has been lifted, which should increase primary stability.

Probably due to bruxism, the provisional is not stable.  Less than 2 months postop, the patient requests final restoration.  After re-prep and impression, PA is taken (Fig.12).  The latter shows that the peri-implant gaps (arrowheads), as compared to Fig.6) decrease in size, while the bone density in the gap increases.
