The remaining buccal and lingual gaps are filled with allograft and membrane (Fig.4 *).
The implant gets its primary stability partially by engaging into the mesial and distal walls of the socket in this case. This leaves limited space for restoration if the neighboring teeth do not shift during osteointegration.
