Fig.8 (intraop occlusal view): An immediate provisional is fabricated at the sites of #2 and 3 (splinted). The insertion torque of the immediate implant at the site of #2 is between 30 and 35 Ncm. Splinting may help primary stability of the immediate implant. No lateral force is going to be exerted on the gingiva-level immediate implant, since the clasps have been removed.
The partial denture appears to be able to be adapted to the provisional.
