Osteotomy at #15 is accomplished with traditional tapered osteotomes from 2 to 5 mm for 11 mm deep.  Although the patient is a little uncomfortable with tapping (as compared to Magic Expanders), a 4.5x11 mm dummy implant is placed 2 mm subgingival with primary stability (Fig.2).  A pair abutment tries in to check restorability (6x4(2) mm).
