Fig.6 (intraop PA): A 6x17 mm tap (T) has limited engagement into the new bone (therefore lacks stability at the depth of 14 mm from the gingival margin).  Since there is distance from the upper border of the inferior alveolar nerve canal (red dashed line), the length of the osteotomy can increase by 3 mm.  Since there is no long bone level implant, a gingiva level implant is to be used.
