Fig.9 (intraop occlusal view): A 4x3 mm abutment (A) is placed, while mixture of autogenous bone (harvested from reamers) and Osteogen (Implandent) is placed in the periphery of the socket prior to and after implant placement (*).  There are several methods to contain the graft in place.  In this article is described fabrication of an immediate provisional.  The temporary restoration can cover any shape or any size of the socket.  It can be made and/or adjusted without any contact with the opposing teeth.
