To reduce socket gap (*), a 6 mm IBS implant is inserted with >50 Ncm (Fig.5). What is unexpected is heavy reduction in the height of a 6.5x4(3) mm abutment (A) because of the short crown height of the lower posterior teeth (Fig.1) and supraeruption of the tooth #3. The immediate provisional is unstable postop. The remade one dislodges soon, so does the abutment (Fig.6, 3 months postop). It appears that bone pattern in the distal socket changes.
