Convert FPD to Implant Restoration

A 45-year-old lady is afraid of dentistry.  Although #29-32 FPD has failed for a while (Fig.1,2 ^ (open margin)), she is not willing to have treatment.  Recently her husband had an implant placed without pain.  She agrees to receive treatment.  The bridge will be sectioned between #29 and 30.  The bone height at #31 is less than that at #30 (Fig.2).  The patient is small in statue.  The good news is that small, short implants should work.  On the other hand, the bone width may be not promising.
