Low Density at Cancellous Bone

As a part of project converting the lower partial denture into implant-supported restoration, an implant will be placed at #20 (Fig.1,2).  Since bone density at the cortex and the medulla is 800 and 200 units, Marking drill will be used to start osteotomy (2 mm in depth) to pass through the cortex, while Magic osteotomes are to be used to extend osteotomy to 9 mm (bone condensation).
