Fig.3 (Preop CBCT (sagittal section)): To place 7x17 mm immediate implant, a small portion of the bone is to be removed (between arrowheads).  It appears that surgical trauma is minimal. 

The trajectory of the implant should be ideal, dictated by the mesial and distal walls of the socket when the implant is wide enough.  This is the beauty of immediate implant.
