Fig.5: Preop CBCT (coronal section through the furca).  To place 7x17 mm immediate implant, a small portion of the bone is to be removed (3.6 mm x 5 mm, i.e., between arrowheads).  It appears that surgical trauma is minimal.  The trajectory of the implant should be ideal, in the line of longitudinal axis of the tooth.
