Fig.5: A 4x11 mm implant is placed deeper than the dummy one.  Since torque is 20 Ncm, a 5.5x4 mm healing abutment is placed (H).  Autogenous bone is placed around the implant/abutment junction, followed by collagen membrane and suture.  It will be difficult to restore the implant because of the deep placement.  Impression coping may be required.  It appears that the implant is too long and placed too deep, increasing chance to compromise blood supply to the neighboring tooth.
