To decrease vibration, the buccal edge of the roots will be trimmed first (Fig.5,6 a; 2 mm sub-gingival (red line)) before root section (Fig.6 b).  >: buccal crest.  Try not to separate the gingiva from the shield to keep blood supply as much as possible.
