Smooth Guided Surgery

After osteotomy is finished as planned at #18, the guide is removed.  The mesial wall of the osteotomy seems to be normal (hemorrhage).  There is no sign of residual roots.  A 4.5x10 mm implant is placed with stability.  Periodontal probe is used to confirm the implant being slightly subcrestal.  A 6x3 mm healing abutment is placed (Fig.1 (red dashed line: the superior border of the Inferior Alveolar Canal)).  The patient is satisfied with speed and comfort of the procedure as compared to his previous ones (#2,31, and 15).  There is no postop discomfort.
