Buccodistal Shifting

A 50-year-old woman complains of #8 buccodistal shifting (Fig.1,2).  Conduct occlusal equilibrium until the affected tooth returns to its normal position.  Trim the crown shell of the extracted tooth subgingival to the tooth #9 as a temporary crown (Fig.3,4).  The gap between the socket and the tooth shell will be filled with sticky bone and PRF and covered by periodontal or acrylic dressing.  The palatal bone loss is also severe (Fig.5); PRF should cover the palatal defect following sticky bone with a hole over the abutment.
