To obtain primary stability, a long implant will be placed at #21 (15 or 16 mm), while a narrower implant (3 mm 1-piece, Fig.6)) is safer than 3.8 mm one (2-piece, Fig.5) in term of preventing periimplantitis (buccal thread exposure).
