Occlusal Interference from Supraerupted Lower 3rd Molar

A 58-year-old woman wants to have an implant at #15 after placement of those at #2 and 4 (Fig.1).  Restoration height is limited by the supraerupted tooth #17.  Occlusal reduction is expected if an immediate provisional is fabricated.  A 5x8.5 mm implant will be placed in the septum or the buccal socket.  A 5x14 mm tissue level implant will be placed to reduce screw loosening associated with bruxism and torus palatinus (Fig.2,3).
