Sinus Lift with PRF Membrane
A 49-year-old man has had symptom and sign of crack syndrome at the tooth #15 for 2 years (Fig.1 (blue line: sinus floor)). It finally cracks. There appear to be 3 roots with a thin and relatively short septum after extraction (Fig.2 grey area). Use Pointed/Lindamann bur with 4 mm stop (red line) to start osteotomy, followed possibly with Magic Expander 3 mm if the bone is not so dense. Insert PRF membrane (assistants draw blood) and allograft for sinus lift prior to placement of dummy implants. The definitive one is expected to be 5x10 mm.
