Precision Placement

The 54-year-old woman (bruxer) agrees to have implant because of the loose tooth at #15 (Fig.1 (pan)).  Since the left sinus membrane is thickened (Fig.2 *), an immediate implant will not be penetrated the sinus floor if primary stability is acceptable.  If the sinus lift has to be done, PRF membrane/plug will be prepared.  The large periradicular radiolucency is associated with the vertical palatal root fracture (Fig.3).  A 5x8.5 mm implant is placed as buccal as possible with guide (Fig.4).
