The offset is the distance from metal sleeve top to the fixture top (Fig.1). There are 3 kinds of offset options, 9 (standard), 10.5, and 12mm.When we raise the level of metal sleeve top from the soft tissue, then we’ll have more space between the metal sleeve top and the fixture top which means your bone trimmer & osteotomy drills need to be longer to compensate the vertical difference.
