Fig.3: Preop PA is used to measure the bone height at the site of the tooth #31 (12.93 mm).   The length of the implant will be 10 mm.  But the initial osteotomy depth will be 8 mm.  Red line: the upper border of the inferior alveolar nerve canal.

Fig.4: A 2 mm pilot drill in place (8 mm deep).  The upper center of the pilot drill is 5.41 mm from the distal root of the tooth #30, which is ideal.  But the trajectory of the pilot drill needs be adjusted, while the depth will be increased to 10 mm.
