Since crowding in the maxilla (Fig.1,5) is more severe than that in the mandible (Fig.7), the upper first bicuspids are extracted (Fig.3,5: #4).  Orthodontic treatment is finished in 2 years with normal anterior overbite and overjet and posterior interdigitation (Fig.2,4).
