A 66-year-old man is partially edentulous (Fig.1).  The tooth #4 has lost crown; its lost coronal space is compensated by supraeruption of the opposing tooth #29 (arrow).  The teeth #5 and 6 tilt (black lines).  In brief, the occlusion on the right side is Class II Div. 1.  Following intrusion of the tooth #29, the upper posterior teeth are to be distalized.
