When taking the 2nd photo, ask the patient to smile as big as possible.  Most of time, the patient shows unnatural smile due to shame of appearance (Fig.2).  What should be shown is the upper and lower dental midlines as compared to the facial midline (Fig.2').  Once again, use the regular lens.  Switch to flashlight mode.  Also check whether the photo just taken is focused or not.
