Unilateral Class II Occlusion
While the left posterior interdigitation is normal, the right is a half tooth off (Class II) 2.5 years post banding (16 years old, male, Fig.1). The upper midline remains left. The roots of the upper anterior teeth are within normal limit. UR8 will be extracted with bone graft (sticky bone; Fig.2). A 8 mm mini implant or a DIO 1-piece implant with ball abutment will be placed in the same appointment if possible (red circle). With a closed coil spring, UR3-7 or 1-7 will be distalized en bloc (Fig.3). Take photos for the occlusion: right, middle and left.
