PRF Membrane and Allograft Prior to Dummy Implant 

A 52-year-old woman is a dental phobic.  Finally she agrees to have 1 implant placed in the upper left posterior region, where the sinus floor is paper thin (Fig.1).  Use Magic Split for access for 2-3 mm deep, followed by Magic Lifter for 9 mm.  If the latter does not engage, use Magic Drill in the Sinus Kit.  Place PRF membranes (Fig.2,3 purple curved line) and allograft/Osteogen (circles) prior to 4 mm dummy implant.  The 1st intraop PA will show whether the graft is sufficient or not.  Since the mesial bone is thicker than the distal one (Fig.1,2), try to prevent the osteotomy from drifting distally (1).
