Implant Is Inserted into Socket for Stability

A 53-year-old man agrees implant treatment for crack tooth #2 (Fig.1).  Since the apex overlaps the sinus floor (Fig.2 panoramic X-ray), the primary stability will be derived from tight contact of an implant with the socket.  After extraction (Metronidazole), osteotomes are going to be used to break through the sinus floor (RT2-4), followed by tap drills (4.5 mm or larger (Fig.3) until achieving 35 Ncm).  The implant will be one size larger.  Prepare regular and extra wide surgical kits.  Before implant placement, insert PRF plug and allograft/Osteogen.
