Trajectory Tubes of Surgical Stent

Three implants will be placed in the upper left posterior sextant (Fig.1-4).  Without incision, place a surgical stent with trajectory tubes in place.  Start osteotomy through the metal tubes (Fig.5,6) with a 2 mm pilot drill (SM) with drill extension if necessary.  Palpate the buccal plate while drilling.  Insert parallel pins for PA.  According to the size of keratinized gingival band in the edentulous area, use either a 4 mm tissue punch or #15 scalpel for access.  This way favors the trajectory over the diameter and length of the implants.
