Fig.7 (Immediately postop, incisal view): An immediate provisional is just cemented.  The lingual gingiva is more erythematous and edematous (*) than the buccal.  The lingual gingival infection disappears 9 days postop.

Heavy articulating paper staining is found in the neighboring teeth (incisal edges).  This suggests that the provisional is out of occlusion (all of excursion).

The implant is placed (or tilted) a little too lingually.
