Fig.8 (9 days postop, buccal view): The gingiva is apparently free of infection.  The mesial black triangle may disappears gradually after adjustment of the proximal contour of the provisional and final restoration.

Although the coronal portion of the buccal plate has undergone quick collapse, it may not persist, since bone graft is done and relatively healthy neighboring gingiva can keep the gingiva at the site of the affected tooth/implant from further recession.  At least immediate implantation causes less cosmetic issue than delayed one.  If bone graft were done before implant placement, the collapse would have been less severe.
