2.5 mm 1-Piece Implant for Lower Incisor

When the patient returns for lower incisor implant placement, he insists on saving the tooth #26 (Fig.1).  He has lost 3 incisors with 2 incisor width.  The crest is narrow buccolingually in the right edentulous area, in which a 2.5 mm 1-piece implant is placed (Fig.2: 2.5).  A 3.0 mm 1-piece implant is placed in the other edentulous area.  Insertion torque is 50 Ncm for the implants thanks to high density bone.  Autogenous bone harvested from osteotomy is placed around the implant (Fig.2 white *). The tooth #26 is splinted to the tooth #27 (Fig.2 black *).  Single provisionals are fabricated for the implants.
