Perio Abscess

A 36-year-old man develops periodontal abscess at #19 and 20 after scaling & root planing.  Since the site of #20 is close to the Mental Nerve, 3.8 mm tap or dummy implant will be used to form osteotomy instead of drills (Fig.1,3).  While an implant will be placed in the middle of the socket #20, an implant will be placed as buccal as possible at #19 (Fig.4).  If primary stability at #20 is poor, extract the tooth #21 and place a 3.8x10 mm lingually (Fig.2).  PRF membrane will be placed prior to bone graft after implant placement (Fig.3 yellow).
