Magicore

A 43-year-old woman requests implant placement at #30 after #29-31 FPD failure (Fig.1).  It appears that the abutments (#29 and 31) have periapical radiolucency (Fig.2,3 *).  Possible implant infection will be emphasized.  Since the opposing tooth (#3 in Fig.1) is supraerupted, Magicore (implant) will be tried.  The initial depth is 9 mm after testing for bone density.  The latter seems to be low.  If it is true, BEB (bone expansion and bending) technique will be adopted.
