Low Bone Density

A 65-year-old woman returns for 19-21 implant FPD 9 months post cementation at #30 (Fig.1).  The bone density is 600 units at #19 (Fig.2).  To place a 4x10 mm implant, underdrilling is required (the last drill will be 3 mm).  The implant at #21 will be expected to be 3.5x11.5 mm (Fig.3).  Since the ridge at #19 and 21 is narrow (Fig.2,3 arrowheads), the keratinized gingiva should be narrow.  Incision will be made to save the latter.  Take photos of the erythematous ridge, as related to denture fungal infection.
