Long Bone

While the guided implant at #19 is osteointegrating, porcelain chips in the mesial marginal ridge of the retainer at #30 (Fig.2 *), causing food impaction between #29 and 30.  The units #30 and 31 are removed.  Impression is taken for guide at #31 (Fig.1).  A temporary crown is fabricated for #30.  Since there is sufficient bone, a 5x11.5 mm implant will be placed (Fig.1).  If mouth opening is limited, a 10 mm long will be used.  RCT will be done for the tooth #29 first for the buccal fistula (Fig.2).  The fistula disappears 1 month post RCT (Fig.3,4 <) when a 5x10 mm implant is placed at #31.
