Nasal Floor
A 61-year-old woman returns with chief complaint of "loose tooth" at #9 nine month post cementation at #7 (Fig.1 (periradicular radiolucency (*)). Because of lack of posterior support, a long implant will be placed immediately post extraction (Fig.2). Be careful of the nasal floor, which is slanted (Fig.1 red dashed line). It seems that the implant at the central incisor would be shorter than that at the lateral one. The diameter should be the same. Take PA after 2 mm drill to avoid the Incisive Foramen (Fig.2 blue dashed line).
