IS Guide for IBS Implants

A 54-year-old man has lost a crown at #15 due to root fracture.  The latter is associated with bruxism and missing #13.  He agrees to have 2 implants and limited ortho to increase the space at #13.  In fact the space increases by proximal reduction before CT and impression for guide (Fig.1).  The space is enough for a narrow metal sleeve (Fig.4).  To prove that abutment screw loosening is most likely related to implant trajectory, IBS implants (with history of easy screw loosening) will be placed with the help of IS guide.  PRF will be prepared (x2), one for sinus lift and the other for palatal plate repair.  Take photos for palatal fistula.
