#2 Severe Pain #3 Implant Redo
A 68-year-old man with controlled diabetes has severe pain associated with the tooth #2 with chronic periodontitis. #3 site is 5 months post bone graft following implant failure. High bone density without appropriate torque control is a culprit. Although the buccal plate is repaired post graft, the bone width and height decreases. Narrow implant is mandate at #3. To reduce occlusal load, implants are going to be placed mesial (Fig.6).
