1-Piece Implant at Upper Lateral Incisor

A 88-year-old man fractures the upper lateral incisor (microdontia) (Fig.1). Because of the labial concavity (white dashed line), it appears that an implant smaller than 3.5 mm is appropriate for the site. Clinical examination and CBCT confirm the concavity (Fig.2,4 *). Since the tooth deviates mesial, osteotomy should be initiated distopalatal (Fig.1,4).
