5 mm Implants For Premolars with Large Defects

A 54-year-old man with bruxism requests treatment at #4 and 12 with buccal fistulae (Fig.1-3).  Due to large defects, a large, but short implants (5x7.3 mm) will be used for primary stability.  PRF membranes (x4) and liquid (x1 for sticky bone) will be prepared for sinus lift and buccal defect repair.  Guided surgery will be utilized to prevent poor trajectory at #18 and 19 (Fig.1).  The result turns out to be good (Fig.4).
