Tissue-Level Implant

A 61-year-old woman requests implant at #14 because of mobility after exfolia-tion of the tooth #18 (Fig.1).  Because of severe bone loss, especially palatal (Fig.2,3 P), osteotomy will be initiated with guide as buccal as possible (Fig.4).  To reduce abutment screw loosening, a 5x11 mm tissue-level implant will be placed (Fig.5 blue (pink: abut-ment)).
